With an internally-cabled carbon frame, electronic shifting and hydraulic disc brakes De Rosa's Idol is pretty much the definition of today's road bike technology. It's a lovely bike to ride and dare I say it pretty to look at (sorry 'discs on road bikes' haters) but with an 8.5kg weight and an average wheelset for the price tag I can't help but feel it's a bike looking for a marketplace.

Selling my Raleigh road bike as looking to get a cyclocross one instead.

It has a carbon frame and fork along with a carbon FSA seatpost.
The groupset is Ultegra Super Light which was between Ultegra and Dura-Ace. This is the 10 speed model with the shift cables exiting from the sides of the hoods. Supposedly shifts better than the under the bar tape ones?

Wheels are Shimano RS20s. Has a Selle Italia saddle, FSA stem and Easton EA70 Aero bars.

This was the top of the range model in 2010 and cost about £2k.

This is an extremely light and fast carbon frame with top-end components, costing over £1800 when new. It has been very well looked after and is in good condition – it has only been used in the summer months as I have another bike for commuting and winter use. It has the SRAM Force group set which is derived from the top end SRAM Red used in the Tour de France with compact gearing to allow more enjoyable riding around Derbyshire (slightly easier gears than the pro’s).

The Lexa S is the second cheapest of Trek's range of aluminium-framed women's road bikes, as distinct from the carbon-framed Silque, Madone and Emonda ranges.

It has Shimano's inexpensive but rather good Sora components and the women's specific WSD geometry 100 Series Alpha aluminium frame is paired up with Trek carbon road forks. The frame also has mounts for mudguards and even a rear rack.
